Main Review of the Celestron UpClose G2 10×50 Porro Binocular
The Celestron UpClose G2 10/50 Porro Binoculars is one of the lower-priced binoculars with good optics. It can be compared to higher end binoculars and still provide satisfactory long range viewing pleasure because of its multi-coated optics.
Its exterior design is functional with a rubberized cover for its aluminum body and ergonomic thumb indents and ridges for better grip. It is supposed to be water resistant but cannot keep moisture off very well. It comes with a soft case and straps.
Sadly, the case and neck strap are not very durable and the cleaning cloth is tiny. It also does not have a tripod adapter and a bump could lead to poor collimation. It also cannot handle rough use because the plastic is somewhat on the brittle side.

Summary of Celestron UpClose G2 10×50 Porro Binocular 71256
For less than $50, the Celestron UpClose is a good buy unless you get one that needs to be adjusted because of rough handling and shipping. One of the bigger issues with this model is the tendency to have poor collimation with a little rough handling. It also tends to get moisture even as it claims to be water resistant. Nonetheless, the best feature of this model is the clarity which is almost impeccable once you get the settings right.
